Joey Belardi (b. 1996) is a painter based in Southern California. His work romanticizes the ordinary, capturing fleeting moments through simplified forms, compressed color, and observational mark-making. Drawing on shared cultural memory, mid-century animation, and painting traditions, Belardi creates images that suggest a sense of familiarity and wonder.
