Joey Belardi (b. 1996, Santa Cruz, CA) is a painter based in Laguna Beach, California. His work explores the absurdities of everyday life, reframing the familiar through humor and curiosity. Drawing on mid-century animation and shared cultural memory, Belardi combines observational mark-making with playful distortions of space and emotion, inviting viewers to reconsider how memory and myth shape the present.
